The APUS Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) houses faculty development resources, student resources, and Sakai resources. CTL consults with Faculty Directors and Program Directors, and with School Deans to incorporate new technologies into the electronic classroom and to develop appropriate pedagogies, ensuring that APUS stays abreast of the latest instructional practices.
Our mission is to improve student learning through teaching excellence while providing support and resources for faculty members to be scholarly, innovative, and effective.
Our motto is “Building Unity in the Academic Community.”
Our vision is to equip faculty members with the tools and resources needed to actively engage in teaching and learning; to build a virtual teaching and learning community among faculty members and students; and to serve as a one-stop, 24/7 Web source for resources and information on the many facets of teaching and learning online.
